Special Packages:

According to ufone this phone is targeted at the young generation and so comes under the Uth Umbrela  .

Ufone offers 10 hours free 3G internet and comes with unlimited and hourly 3g internet packages.

The mobile tv is free for first 15 days .

Our Review of the Uth Futura:

This phone looks promising but also comes with several glitches , first of all instead of deploying its own 3g network ufone is utilizing the PTCL 3g network. Which makes it the only phone that supports 3g , hence many of us who own high end smartphones will not like to degrade to this phone.

Secondly a word about the PTCL 3g Service , I would want to let you know that the speed advertised is not the normal one you would get . The speed depends upon a number of factors like distance from tower , weather condition and number of people using the network . In my opinion the  PTCL 3g  network is now working at its full capacity and as the no. of 3g usb users has also increased the speed is not satisfactory !

Another thing about the 3g phone is that it doesn't run on a good operating system like android etc hence you will be stuck with the java apps and its built-in ones , I don't see any use of high speed internet on the simple and basic java apps .

Its camera is just an entry level!

And one of the absurd thing you would have to load ufone and evo accounts

At last the decision lies with you but consider all the pros and cons mentioned.

Pleas rate and comment below!

PTCL has announced 50 mbps broadband internet which uses VDSL Bonding technology .

VDSL2 Bonding takes two copper based lines per subscriber and aggregates them to almost double the bandwidth speed available to the existing customers and also expands high speed broadband access to areas that are underserved today. Using VDSL2 Bonding technology, service providers can extend the life of their existing copper infrastructure supporting the delivery of bandwidth intensive services such as Triple play service, data and IPTV.

Well we have to wait and see the final Price , one thing for certain it will not be a thing for those on budget !

Ufone has joined the ranks with Moblink and Zong to officially support twitter on their network.

Ufone users can now update their status , view tweets , follow , unfollow etc through sms.

Lets wait for Warid and telenor !

Yes ! twitter is now available on zong by sms , Zong has followed the lead of moblink and has become the second Pakistani Mobile Network to provide twitter – a microblogging service .

You can update your status , get other’s status updates , retweets , send messages and much more by sms.

Just visit twitter on your PC and set-up your mobile.

What about warid , ufone etc , if you are one of there subscribers then you can get the same facility by pringit.com. But warid , telenor and ufone don’t support twitter yet.
